Dedicated, Mission-Driven Health Care
As the region's largest health care provider, Centura Health believes that health care is not merely a business, it's a calling. Our mission compels us to both care for the ill and to improve the health of the people in our communities. Centura Health is a nonprofit organization, therefore has no shareholders to whom returns are distributed. As a result, all profits are reinvested in our mission and communities.
Our sponsors, Catholic Health Initiatives and Adventist Health System, have long provided loving, leading edge care to those in need throughout Colorado. What distinguishes us more than size is our daily dedication to sensitively serving the sick, injured and elderly. We seek to create a covenant of caring that improves the health of the people in our communities. Our 15,800+ associates transform each Centura facility into a healing sanctuary, offering patients a place of safety and skill that recognizes unique needs and nurtures each individual with excellence, integrity and compassion.
Investing in Your Future
Over the past five years, we have invested in our communities and built new hospitals in Summit County, Colorado Springs and Parker, and the newest addition to the Centura family, St. Anthony Hospital, now open in Lakewood.
In the past three years alone Centura Health has invested more than $700 million in our communities and facilities, including significant renovations and capital additions and state-of-the-art technology such as an electronic medical record system, the da Vinci Surgical System and CyberKnife.
